First of all, congratulations on your engagement! How nice that you are getting married. If you would like me to be your wedding photographer , please fill out the contact form first to set your date. What happens next I will gladly guide you through. In short how do I work / what is my way of working?
After filling out the contact form I will contact you as soon as possible to determine what your wishes are in short and if there is already a planning.
Introduction meeting
During this meeting at your home or online we will discuss your wishes. We will briefly go over what you think is important and what the planning of the day looks like. We will also briefly discuss the wedding location and the people who will be part of your wedding. After the meeting you can judge whether the mutual click is present and whether you trust me to take the photos. After this meeting you will receive a free quote.
Confirmation
When you choose for me, I will be happy to reserve your wedding date in my calendar by means of a down payment that we will agree upon together.
Wedding Schedule
If you do not have a wedding planner , it is important to make your own wedding schedule that clearly states who is expected to do what and the phone numbers of those directly involved. In preperation , you can already see how much time you need to reserve for which moment of the day.
Wedding location
Besides the location where wedding ceremony will take place, there are of course one or two locations where the beautiful posed photos (loveshoot) will be taken. Regardless of the time of year, it is wise to have a back-up location behind you. If it rains or storms unexpectedly, it is nice to have an indoor location as an alternative. It is also desirable to bring someone to assist with things like the dress or a makeup artist to touch up the makeup.
Final Preparation
About a week before your wedding day, I go over the day together with you or the wedding planner. We determine whether enough time has been reserved for each moment and we set the final schedule. I purposely do this one week in advance, because as the wedding planning is going on, it often changes. Often I still get the question what if your camera doesn't work? Of course, I always have a second camera with me.
Wedding Day
During the preparation, the first look, the ceremony, the loveshoot and the moments that follow, I not only make sure that great photos are taken, but I also try to make sure that everything goes as smoothly as possible for you as a couple. Through my extensive experience I know what it takes to put the bride, groom and often the guests present at ease so that I can optimally capture you on film. Of course nothing has to be done, it's your day.
After the wedding
After your amazing day, I strive to share with you a first sneak preview within 48 hours. (Only in case another wedding is scheduled the next day, it may take a day longer). I will also send you the remaining invoice. Then I will edit your photos for color, contrast and brightness and/or exposure. Within four weeks (usually two weeks) I strive to digitally share the photos with you in high quality print format as well as in a format that can be used for your social media. A wedding album is a personal taste or choice. I can advise you on where to go for that. If you lose your images in any way, you can use my archive for free where I will store the images for a long time. If you want to have one particular photo enlarged in a special way, I can help you with that by delivering it in the right format.
Do you want to know if I can do something beautiful for you as a wedding photographer? Feel free contact me.
